Avocados are the trendiest fruit of 2017! Yes I said FRUIT! A lot of people consider our green hued friend a vegetable, while in fact it is a fruit more importantly a single-seeded berry! (thank you Huffington Post for clearing that up) Avocados have made appearances in your favorite guac' and is now becoming popular as a spread on toast or other bread types! (I personally love Avo-toast)
Not only are Avocados great for your taste buds, they are great for your body! They come full of vitamins C, E, and K these soluble vitamins break down into antioxidants in your body ! You can use Avocados on your hair and skin to reap the benefits of the antioxidants as well!
Avocados are considered "Health Fats" and they contain mono unsaturated fatty acids, these aid in lowering cholesterol and lower your chance of coronary heart disease and stroke!
Next time you see your friend the Avocado in your local grocery store or Farmer's Market don't just give it an over looking, pick it up, take it home, let it show you what it can do!
